Here are some photos from the Great New England Airshow at Westover AFB in Chiccopee, Ma. It was quite warm and hazy but all in all, I, thought it was a good show. Click HERE for more pictures

What a great time everyone had at the first FOOD-N-FLY event Sat. July 21. The weather was great! The flying was great! The food was even better! We had a great turn out, too! The morning started off with some awesome chilli. Then the flying started with a couple fun fly events.
The first event was a timed event. 1 minute flight from the time your wheels left the ground until touchdown with out going over. The winners were;
The next event was spot landings. Three trys, bullseye 100pts, then 50pts., 30pts., and 10pts. The winners were;
They all won the right to be first in line for lunch! What a deal! If you missed this one, there is another FOOD-N-FLY scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 19. Pictures can be found HERE

We couldn't ask for a better day for some buddy box flights. We also couldn't ask for a better turn out of people looking for buddy box flights! At one point, all three club trainers were flying and still there was a line growing. Bill Flower invited a Boy Scout Troop, and there were many people who came as a result of ads being put in the paper. Kids as well as grownups took turns burning holes in the sky. As well as some great saves by the instructor pilots to avoid the pending crash! Thanks to all that helped and we'll see you at the next Buddy Box Day! Veiw photos HERE

For those that get the Model Airplane News e-letter every week, you have probly already seen this. If not, all I can say is wow! Scratch building has really come a long way. Carbon fiber and Titanium, geesh! Take a look...
