Well, our weekend got off to a rainy start, but, we will be continuing tommorow, Sunday June 12, with the hopes of better weather. We had a small group of members show up with thought of getting some flights in.

One even braved the rain, and attempted a few flights. Thanks, Barry, for reminding us why we don't! On his second flight, in what was a little more than a drizzle, Barry lost radio control of his Sonic, and crashed into the tall brush. Luckly, after a very wet rescue mission, the Sonic was retrieved with minimal damage to the tail section. Thanks for the entertainment, Barry!

On Sunday flights will begin around 9am. A Buddy Box is a way for those interested in giving R/C flying a try without the risk of a crash. You are paired up with a seasoned instructor and you actually have your own controller. Refreshments will be available. Come on out for a great time outdoors!
