Nutmeg R/C Flyers, Inc. operates at the base of Thomaston Dam in the Leadmine Brook recreation area. We offer instruction and direction to those interested. The club has several events throughout the flying season. We have numerous "Buddy Box" weekends where you are teamed up with an instructor pilot for one-on-one instruction. A "Fun-Fly" in July, with such events as spot landings, climb and glide, timed ballon popping, to name a few. Our club annual picnic is later in the summer. It is a relaxing time with good food, a raffle, great stories and usually turns into an imprompto swap meet.
